About Us
Dr. Kott brings a rare depth of experience to his patients — as a clinician, a researcher, and a systems thinker who understands how all the pieces of good healthcare fit together. Before entering clinical practice, he worked across molecular cancer biology, medical device design and marketing, and healthcare systems management, and conducted clinical research at Brown University. He trained in General Surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center before founding Atlanta Health Center, where he sees patients every day. That breadth of experience means he understands your care not just as a clinical problem, but as part of a bigger picture.
Dr. Kott has spent his career at the forefront of medical research, with work published and cited across a range of topics in distinguished peer-reviewed journals including European Urology Focus and the World Journal of Urology. He brings that same curiosity and rigor to every patient he sees.
As a board-certified Wound Care Specialist, Dr. Kott treats patients with chronic wounds — including diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, and venous leg ulcers — using advanced therapies such as surgical debridement and skin substitutes. He also offers Interventional Pain Management for patients living with persistent pain.
Dr. Kott believes that excellent care means treating the whole person, not just the condition. In addition to his Western medical training, he has a deep interest in Eastern and holistic healing modalities, and actively encourages his patients to incorporate mindfulness into their lives — whether to reduce pain, manage stress, or support weight loss. At Atlanta Health Center, modern medicine and integrative care work together, because the best outcomes happen when they do.
